Biographies

JUDITH GORMAN
Judith is a Licensed Independant Clinical Social Worker. She has been a Clinical Counselor for the Fleet and Family Support Clinic at NAS Whidbey. She is one of the founders and co-directors of the VRC. She is the mother of US Army veteran Orrin Gorman McClellan.

PERRY MCCLELLAN
Perry is a Licensed General Contractor, and specializes in renovation and adaptive use. He is one of the founders and co-directors of the VRC. He is the father of US Army veteran Orrin Gorman McClellan.

BILL HUGHES
Bill is a US Navy career veteran. He served from the Vietnam era through Desert Storm. He is one of the Board members of the VRC.

KORD ROOSEN-RUNGE
Kord is a committed community and family member, father, grandfather and husband, resident of Freeland since 1994. He is an experienced professional social worker, in an active career as both a volunteer and paid professional, serving over four decades as an administrator, client advocate, consultant, counselor and educator. As a member of the VRC's Board of Directors and a US Army Veteran, Vietnam Era, he is very invested in its mission and purpose in our community.

CHRIS THORSEN
Chris Thorsen is founder of Quantum Edge. He has advised senior leaders and their executive teams on rapid growth in high tech companies, helped leaders of old line utility companies transform their cultures, and applied his expertise to international peace building with policy leaders on the island of Cyprus. Chris obtained his masters degree in organizational development and worked as an employee assistance consultant to business and labor. During this time he developed ways to apply the martial art of Aikido to corporate change. In 1984 Chris founded Quantum Edge and began consulting companies in international sales, telecommunications and the computer industry. Chris has given hundreds of Change Mastery Presentations to organizations. He has studied and taught Aikido for over 25 years. He is one of the Board members of the VRC.
